  • Water therapy is the use of water to improve health……….
    According to alternative medicine advocates, one form of water therapy is the consuming of a gutful of water upon waking in order to "cleanse the bowel". A litre to a litre and half is the common amount ingested. This water therapy, also known as Indian or Chinese Water Therapy, is claimed to have a wide range of health benefits; or at least no adverse effects. While ingesting about a litre and a half of water is usually harmless, this is approaching the level which can lead to water intoxication, an urgent and dangerous medical condition. Advocates of water therapy claim that application of water therapy at first will cause multiple bowel movements until the body adjusts to the increased amount of fluid.
  •    Water has got many properties to heal many ailments. It has plenty of healing powers to those who are drinking cold water and bathing in cold water. It is all in all ,the water of life.Drinking many glasses of water is good for  healthy life.
  • Bathing in cold water reduces blood pressure and strengthen nervous system.As soon as we drink water it reduces the artery blocks and valves of the heart and make them run away with smooth function of the heart .Those having BP ,fainting and giddiness can take many glasses of cold water for better results.This should be taken in small teaspoonfuls.  Small quantities of salt can act as an insta pep and drives tiredness.
  • If we take hot sukku water,it will drive out gas trouble.Those who have the habit of drinking hot water will not have head ache due to indigestion.
  • Hot water excreates the toxic substances of the body , cholestrol and fatty substances.
  • The pain of ulcers in the stomach could be reduced when hot water is taken little by little.If hot water is taken after heavy dinner it relieves gas and stomach pain. 
  • If you want ur face to be very smooth and fair then  barly water with boiling water could be taken.   If  legs are held in hot water with small quantities of epsom salt for more than half an hour it could  remove all  pains.
  • During high thirst if we drink warm water frequently it will quench. Those having cracks and pain in the leg will be cured with in a few hours when rubbed with pumice stones in water. Cold water mixed with cocunut water reduces dehydration and maitains resalination level.
  • If we want to reduce weight, one glass of hot water with drops of honey and small teaspoon of lemon juice can be had half an hour before every meal .Water is the divine power of nature and when taken in suitable quantities ,  cures a lot of diseases.

  •   From the olden  days till today  mankind has been doing  some form of fasting .Fasting is nothing but not taking any food and consuming only water or some liquid diet. By quitting 1 or 2 times meals in different days of a week will make persons dynamic and wonderful 
  • Now a new study shows that fasting on 1or 2 days of a week  increase even longevity. The national institute of aging has obseved that fasting prevents aging and decaying of health. This will protect the brain against ALZHEMIER DISEASE and PARKINSONS DISEASE and  degenerative brain conditions. 
  •  Let us see how many types of fasting are available to the mankind. Firstly skipping 2 days dinner during night. Skipping afternoon meals at one time and quitting dinner for next day. Skipping afternoon meals of all gives maximum benifits. But this will be for 2 afternoon meals only.
  •   In between fasting one can have orange or lemon juice. This  increses rare enzymes of the body. Though initially it feels difficult to fast then after fasting will give tremondous strength and rejuvenation.  Jeeragam or sukku water will increse the blood circulation very deeply.
  •  Fasting strengthens the inner organs of the body and makes the glands seceate properly. We can very well combat day to day exertions and tiredness .We can also take apple juice during fasting.    
  • Taking only fruits in between meals would give total benifits. You can reduce or cut down from large food to minimum quantity. Taking hot water with pepper powder, sugarcandy karuppatti mixed in it or some kanji made out of ragi and kambu can act as a best substitute during fasting. This will increase the physical and mental potentials. 
  • These types of fasting for 2 or 3 days has been very elaborately dealt in  religious epics.Fasting stimulates the nerves and keeps them much active. 
  • Scientifically it makes a man to be a dynamic personality.  Fasting habits differ from country to country and people to people. It  reduces blood pressure, and obisity to a great extent. Fasting is a gift of nature and there is a growing awareness . So fasting does not belong to any particular religion or society. It makes a complete man.
