- During the cold season the skin will be very dry.There will be strictures all over the body. Mouth will bleed and blood comes out of lips. The situation becomes very sorrowful. Hair becomes full of dandruf and grey. There will be ruptures in the bottom of the feet and sole of the feet.To cure this, the legs can be dipped in a bucket of water with salt for nearly half an hour.
- In the winter we have to eat specific healthy food to combat cold. Take care to heat and bake all the food stuff including drinking water. Hot water with sukku (dry ginger) can be taken. We should also eat food stuff that produce much heat to the body.
- Our food should consist of walnut, almond and pulses. This can produce heat and warmth.
- Brocoli ,carrot and green leaves like pasalai can be taken. Drink lot of corn and mushroom soup. Along with this ginger and garlic can also be had . Alfalfa , avinacettiva and sweet potato produce carbo hydrates and heat.
- Stop using soap for bath. We have to use paste of kadalai powder and powder of orange skin. We should rub this on the face and for bathing.
- Bathing including head with paste of sembaruthi flower, arcanut and neem leaves dipped in water and ground, is good. Mustard oil and almond oil applied with a little bit massage also gives relief.
- Use always hot water for bathing a with few drops of Eu de cologne . Eucalyptus can also be mixed in the bucket of water for bath. This would give a warm up for the body
- Vitmine e-oil and weat oil could be mixed in the water.This will reduce cramp due to cold. Milk cream and butter can be applied for 2 times a day .The stitches and cracks would be reduced by applying glycerin and paneer mix.
- We should take cock tails 2to3 times a day .Weat oil and mustard oil can be mixed. 1 to 2 tea spoons can be taken 2to3 times a day.
- Apple and papaya juice can also be taken as internal warm up .Onion peels and garlick peels could be eaten as such
- We can also have extract of ginger .Another remedy is taking warm water boiled with sukku, pepper and thippili. This water could be stored in kettle and taken for frequent warm up.
- We can face and combat winter in a plesant way during ice storm.
