- Today, we see youngsters of 7 or 8 years wearing spectacles.Young and old people are increasaingly losing eye power .This happens due to low immunity against sickness and due to deficiency of Vitamin A .Vitamin A is very actively used to improve eye sight and developing immunity of the body.
- Now Vitamin A can be classified into 2 groups. ie pre formed Vitamin A and pro Vitamin A carotenoids. Pre formed Vitamine A is available in plenty in milk foods , milk and milk products like butter, gee, curd and butter milk .It is also contained in paneer and yogurt.
- The common fruits and vegetables contain pro Vitamines and beta carotinoids will convert these essentials into Vitamin A .It improves clear sight.
- The prime work of Vitamin A is to improve eye sight and develop immunity. The deficiency of this Vitamin leads to the weaknes of eye nerves and bones. This Vitamin protects optical nerves and bones properly.
- Evening sicknes of the eyes, also called Xerosis conjuctiva, the drynes of the eye balls and eye lense Xerosis Cornea are caused by lack of Vitamin A
- One should regularly take soya milk, cheese and paneer products with food . This will improve eye sight.
- Carrot ,orange, poppaya and tomato could be made into juice in a crusher .This can be taken 2 cups in the morning and 2 cups in the night.
- Also vegetables like beet root and turnip can be made into juices and taken regularly .These juices will act on the eyes and gives better eye sight , after 2 to 3 months of regular intake They contain Colin which is good for the brain and optic nerves.
- Mango fruit contains high Vitamin A and reduces LDL cholestrol . The regular use of leaves of arakeerai ,pasalai , ponangani leaves and aathi leaves increase the strength of optical nerves .
- Lastly mustard oil and gingily oil should be applied on the eyes,a drop only directly for 2 to 3 times a day . These therapies will certainly increase eye power to the best.
